I am raising funds for One Meal - an incredible food charity in Sydney run by 900 amazing volunteers which now, due to a sudden change in rental costs, urgently needs financial help to continue to operate.
On May 17th, I'll be attempting the world-famous UTA100, a 100km (including 4,500m of elevation!) ultramarathon in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. God help me! Apart from a few minutes stopping to refuel I'll be out on the trail for around 18hrs, plenty of it by head torch, probably with temps just over freezing and who knows what rain, sleet, snow will conspire to take me down. This is the mountains after all!
Most people shake their heads and ask 'Why?' Well, my best answer is 'So that you'll sponsor me? 😁😁'?
