I am raising funds for Girls from Oz and their 2025 Giving Circle Campaign, Voices For The Future.

Girls from Oz is an Australian not-for-profit that uses performing arts education to contribute to enhancing the overall wellbeing of girls living in remote Australia by improving educational and vocational outcomes. 

This organisation is very close to my heart and I'd love it if you would help me reach my fundraising goal of $250 in support of their 11th annual fundraising campaign.

We are ambitiously aiming to raise $100,000 in support of the 22nd g-oz Travel Program to Sydney this November.

30 g-oz participants from Halls Creek (WA), Bidyadanga (WA), Lockhart River (QLD) and Kowanyama (QLD) will participate in a week-long, performing arts-focused program in the heart of Sydney. For many of these girls, it will be their first time visiting a big city, which will bring a wealth of new and joyful experiences. The week will offer them heaps of fun, rewarding challenges and so many new opportunities, including the chance to perform at the Sydney Opera House with the Australian Girls Choir!

I have just been on my 4th trip to Kowanyama in the most joyful week of engaging with a school-full of wonderful children and young people. I cherish these weeks as some of the best parts of my year, seeing the joy and growth of g-oz participants each time they engage in our program. My favourite part is seeing them develop the confidence to try new things in other aspects of their lives beyond our program.
