Dave’s 100km Ultramarathon
I am raising funds for One Meal - an incredible food charity in Sydney run by 900 amazing volunteers which now, due to a sudden change in rental costs, urgently needs financial help to continue to operate. On May 17th, I'll be attempting the world-famous UTA100, a 100km (including 4,500m of elevation!) ultramarathon in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. God help me! Apart from a few minutes stopping to refuel I'll be out on the trail for around 18hrs, plenty of it by head torch, probably with temps just over freezing and who knows what rain, sleet, snow will conspire to take me down. This is the mountains after all! Most people shake their heads and ask 'Why?' Well, my best answer is 'So that you'll sponsor me? 😁😁'? Your financial support for One Meal will keep me going so please give whatever you can Thank you Dave

Stanford Brown Kookaburra Kids Fundraising Page
Stanford Brown is raising funds for the Kookaburra Kids Foundation Limited, which supports children aged 8-18 living in families impacted by mental illness. A charity that ā€˜walks the walk and talks the talk’. Kookaburra Kids provides direct support and helps to empower young people to go beyond the impacts of family mental illness. Founded by Dianne Madden, who identified a lack of support for children living in a family affected by mental illness, Kookaburra Kids set out to provide the following initiatives: Offer respite to the children. Offer camps where the children are mentored away from the disruption of what can sometimes be described as a chaotic family life due to mental illness. Provide the children with the opportunity to mix with other children who share a similar family story. At Stanford Brown, we understand that mental health can affect your well-being at any age. Acknowledging the mental health of these children and the situations they face while also offering support for them is important to us. The difference Kookaburra Kids Foundation has made to so many people is extraordinary, and we know many others would benefit from their work. But they need more funding to make that happen. So please support their work by donating to our CrowdRaiser. We know they will appreciate every cent received, and we will be very grateful for your contribution, too! Thank you Stanford Brown

Girls from Oz- Nicoline Elder- Giving Circles Campaign
I am raising funds for Girls from Oz and their 2025 Giving Circle Campaign, Voices For The Future. Girls from Oz is an Australian not-for-profit that uses performing arts education to contribute to enhancing the overall wellbeing of girls living in remote Australia by improving educational and vocational outcomes. As a volunteer, AGC tutor and ex-chorister, this organisation is very close to my heart and I'd love it if you would help me reach my fundraising goal of $500 in support of their 11th annual fundraising campaign. We are ambitiously aiming to raise $100,000 in support of the 22nd g-oz Travel Program to Sydney this November. 30 g-oz participants from Halls Creek (WA), Bidyadanga (WA), Lockhart RIver (QLD) and Kowanyama (QLD) will participate in a week-long, performing arts-focussed program in the heart of Sydney. The week will offer transformative experiences; rewarding challenges; unique performance and mentorship opportunities; and the chance to perform at the Sydney Opera House with the Australian Girls Choir! Let's come together to amplify the ambitions and raise the voices of the next generation of Australian women! To learn more about Girls from Oz, you can visit: www.girlsfromoz.org.au Thank you for being a part of my Giving Circle. Nicki

APS Kennel Sleepout 2025 - Team Suppawt
For the 12th year in a row, a number of our Volunteers will be giving up their very comfortable beds to spend a cold, winters night trying to sleep in a Kennel at APS. They will be sharing a kennel with the resident APS dog to raise funds for APS to help them to continue the work they do saving Dogs & Cats in need and making sure that the animals in our care get everything they need until we can find them an amazing Furever Home. Many of our Team will be doing this for the 12th year and will Team up with one of our Woofs to do this. Our Woofs wants you to know that this is their favourite night of the year and are so proud that they can raise funds to help their Buddies in need. The demand for our services has never been higher, every day we are inundated with calls for surrenders and calls from local pounds asking us to help animals that they do not want to have to euthanise. Please help us to make a difference? All donations over $2 are tax deductible and will make a massive difference to an animal currently sitting in a pound hoping for a lifeline. Please consider sponsoring Team Woof?

Licola run for special needs kids
The Lions Licola Wilderness Village exists mainly to support disadvantaged kids and those with special needs, which it does through special camps. The Lions Club of Licola Wilderness Village was formed primarily to support the activities of this village. At the end of April 2025 we are holding a special run to raise money to support these camps, and to enable more of them to be held. In this way we can support many more children by giving them a wonderful experience. These camps absolutely transform the lives of these very special kids, and your support is greatly appreciated. Sari-Elle Kraemer, a Lion from Coogee in Sydney will be our runner. In 2024 she completed the world's highest marathon - the Everest Marathon - to raise money for the Australian Lions Foundation. Since visiting Licola Village as a volunteer at a Lions-Sponsored Camp for 8-11 year old children, she saw first hand the wonderful effect the camps have on children. She enthusiastically volunteered to complete the run from Licola to Traralgon via Heyfield in support of special needs children. Please give us your support.

Marathon For Clefts
I will be running the Great Ocean Road Marathon in May this year, in an attempt to raise funds and awareness for a cause personal to me: surgically repairing the cleft lips and palates of disadvanatged children. As some of you already know, I was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. From 3 months old to 20 years old, I have had around ten surgeries to repair both the functional and cosmetic components of my lip and palate. I was very fortunate for the high quality of surgical and medical care I received over the course of my childhood and adolescence. My experiences with hospitals and medical services were always extremely positive, so much so that I am now pursuing a career in medicine! I have always been quite a confident kid and my cleft is a proud addition to what makes up my uniqueness. But I understand and deeply empathise with children who are not in the same position. My motivation is to help and inspire those who are on their own cleft journeys, and perhaps grappling with its challenges or not granted access to necessary care. Globally, every three minutes a child is born with a cleft lip or cleft palate. In too many cases around the world, surgery to fix cleft conditions is neither accessible nor affordable. It takes as little as 45 minutes to provide surgery to children and adults living with cleft conditions, forever changing their lives. Operation Smile Australia is a volunteer-based global medical charity that provides free surgery to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities in children and young adults in over 60 countries around the world. You can read more about them here. Please donate here in support of my running and to help Operation Smile Australia carry on their fantastic work. If you are not in a position to donate, please share this page to help raise awareness and reach more people who may be in a position to do so. Thanks for the support yall!

Bank Australia GLOW Network - IDAHOBIT Fundraiser
I am raising funds for IDAHOBIT Day and to raise awareness of the discrimination LGBTQIA+ people still face today. Just over 30 years ago, homosexuality was officially removed from the Classification of Diseases - but sadly, LGBTQIA+ communities still face discrimination every day. In 2025, fewer individuals feel comfortable being open about their identities at work compared to just three years prior. Shockingly, two out of three LGBTQIA+ youth face abuse just for being who they are. But we can make a difference - if we unite. I am inspired by the work Minus18 does. The difference they have made to so many people is just extraordinary and I know there are so many others that would benefit from their work. But they need more funding to make that happen. So please support their work by donating to my CrowdRaiser, as I know they will appreciate every cent received. And I will be very grateful for your contribution too!
